# AI Builder
> Tell AI Builder what you need, and it will create a clinical AI agent for you.
On the create assistant page, **Build with AI** opens a side chat. You describe the letter you want. The assistant thinks, replies, and fills the writing fields. You still choose **Clinic**, then save.
Nothing in the chat is saved until you press **Save as Draft** or **Save & Activate**.
Open the create assistant page. Next to the page title you will see **Build with AI**.
Select **Build with AI**. A chat panel slides in from the right, and the form stays visible beside it.
Type what the assistant should write, then send. **Enter** sends the message. **Shift+Enter** adds a new line. A message can be up to **2000 characters**.
For example:
> An ED discharge summary in UK English with sections for presenting complaint, assessment, treatment, plan and safety-net advice.
The chat shows **Thinking… this can take up to 30 seconds**, then posts a reply.
The reply writes into the Assistant Form. A green note under the message lists what changed, for example **Updated: Assistant Name, Speciality, Assistant Instructions, Templates, Examples, Dictionary**.
Those fields are filled for you:
* **Assistant Name**
* **Speciality**
* **Assistant Instructions**
* **Templates**
* **Examples**
* **Dictionary**
The matching tab (Templates, Examples, or Dictionary) is brought forward when that text changes. You can edit any filled field by hand.
Send another message to change the draft. The chat updates the same fields from your latest request. **New conversation** clears the chat so you can start again. Values already written on the form stay until a new reply replaces them.
When the draft looks right, the chat can show **Ready to create**. Saving is still a separate action on the form:
* **Save as Draft** – Store the assistant without making it available for letters.
* **Save & Activate** – Save it as active and create the workflow for the clinic you selected.
**Cancel** leaves the page without saving.
Describe one letter type in one message, including the language and the section headings. Use a follow-up message to adjust tone or sections. Choose **Clinic** yourself before you save.
